The biggest difference between the downloaded books and the ones already on the 100 Classic Book cart is that you cant review and rate them. I found this really annoying when I read my first download as I look forward to the satisfaction of an instant review when I've finished each book.
Although you cant review or rank you can still access footnotes as well as author and book information. The guide does state that downloaded books may not include this extra info but so far I havent found this the norm.
Nintendo have also stated that some downloaded books may be abridged but again I've found my downloads to be the full complete versions.
As yet the official word is that 10 books will be available for download and there may be a possibility of more. The Japanese version of 100 Classic Books was released over a year ago and users are still enjoying fresh downloads.
With the success of the UK 100 Classic Book Collection, I'd be suprised if UK users don't get the same level of new downloads.
